NEW PODCAST WITH FRANKIE BOYLE AND SUSIE MCCABE

Episode one of Here Comes The Guillotine comes out on February 12th

Welcome to the party, pal.

Me and my good pals Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe are all doing a new podcast that comes out in a week’s time. It’s called Here Comes The Guillotine. It’s not got a concept but we’ve recorded a few episodes already, and the overall vibe seems to be one of extreme grimness and extreme laughter. It’s being recorded in Glasgow and put out on the Global Media Player, but I’m fairly certain that you can get it anywhere good podcasts are released.

I’m just buzzing that I get to make it with two of my favourite comedians that I really look up to and genuinely consider close friends. I spent most of last year on tour with either Susie up in the Highlands and down in the borders, or all over the country with Frankie from Cardiff, to Plymouth, to Inverness, to Norwich, and literally fucking everywhere in between. That’s most of what I’m doing this year too, from this week to June.

I’ve listened back to a few episodes and comparing the overall tone to a lot of what gets put out on mainstream British podcasts platforms, I think a lot of people are going to be quite freaked out and put off.
